DWF Series

The DWF series optical data transmission devices enable data to be transmitted quickly and reliably between an aligned pair of units over long distances suitable for logistics and warehousing.  Typical applications include overhead and stacker cranes, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and material transfer systems for non-contact bi-directional Ethernet communication up to 200 meters.  As robust, laser-based sensors, these units offer maximum stability and reliability with a consistent transfer rate across the entire range.  The DWF-15LE and DWF-20LE transceivers can easily replace LAN cables and do not incur physical wear like trailing cables and slip rings nor do they require recalibration like radio systems.  By using the optional laser alignment tool, it allows for stable orientation and optical adjustments, thus saving time and cost during installation.
