The DMS Series optical transceivers extend the parallel I/O communications associated with 300mm material handoff operations between active and passive equipment. Equipped with a 25-pin D-sub connector, these devices provide SEMI E84 compliance for interfacing between semiconductor process equipment and automated material handling systems (AMHS). Whether installed on an AGV or OHT, this parallel I/O interface will ensure a reliable 8-bit optical handshake for controlling the automated handoff operation of the carrier.
